A little bit about me

I’ve been involved in various kinds of historical recreation since I went to my first SCA event at the age of 13. Since then, I’ve been researching and recreating historical costume, cosmetics, cooking and fiber arts.

Why Commonplace Book? A commonplace book was something between a notebook, a diary. It could include instructions for everything from making a pudding to treating smallpox, accounts, observations about the weather-basically anything that the author thought was important enough to write down for later.

My own interests are equally wide ranging and eclectic, so, Commonplace Book.

Please subscribe, link and comment, and I hope you enjoy the ride.
